I am an artist living and working in Perth Western Australia. My art practice revolves around the use of painting as a means of engaging with ideas of virtual space. I see a parallel between traditional endeavours of creating the illusion of space in painting with the construction of elaborate virtual worlds within video games and computer generated films. My practice has been an engagement with the question of whether one can experience a painting in the way you experience an actual place or space.
